OUR MISSION

Sill exists to advocate for the insurance rights of every property owner, commercial & residential, to achieve the maximum possible recovery of their claim under the terms of their policy. Our 90+ years of adjusting property claims, large and small, has taught us that successful navigation of the insurance claims process is one that simply cannot be accomplished without the experience, expertise, knowledge, and industry tools, no matter the background of an insured. On all property claims, an insured faces a difficult burden to prove their damages following an event. Without Sill’s involvement and claim’s handling, that insured will simply have to accept whatever value their insurance company places on the damages, as they have no formal documentation to refute that position. Sill’s experienced claim adjusters and estimators will enable an insured to both control the claim process and overcome that burden by independently and professionally establishing their own governing value of damages.

THE SILL PROCESS:

  • Evaluate the client's policy for all coverages, extensions, exclusions, and limitations and establish mutually agreed upon claims strategy with the insured.
  • Prepare highly detailed, line by line, documentation for building damage, personal (or business personal) property damage (including inventory, machinery, stock, etc.), and loss of business income and extra expenses.
  • Establish a value for your loss and submit it via Proof(s) of Loss (if required) to the carrier.
  • Meet with the insurance company as many times and often as necessary to advocate for maximum settlement for you.
